I just heard on ESPN that the SEC reviewed it and said that the referee was in correct position and that the player ran into him..... RIIIIGHT

WTF, he was stalking him and then threw a shoulder!Even if he had not thrown the final shoulder, it was obvious that he was attempting to take position in front of the QB with intent to obstruct his path... and then when it looked like the QB might slip by him, he then lunged up and at him and threw his shoulder. I don't know how anyone can defend that action with a straight face

I'm still in shock about this. I tried to tell myself that he was just protecting himself, or trying to slide by the QB to get out of the way, and just happened to get hitBut I keep looking at the footage, and have a hard time seeing it that way the more I look at it.

If the NCAA didn't do anything about the crooked refs in the Pitt/WVa Big East Championship game last season...or the Michigan State/Hawai'i game that kept us out of a bowl a few years ago... they won't do anything about this crooked ref either.
