Before anyone gets all excited about this, I'm sure JD is the final decision maker as far as what defense we are playing, and which 11 players are on the field. If I recall, defense wasn't exactly a glaring problem for Michigan this past season.If he'd take the cut in pay, he looks like a good option with lots of MAC knowledge and experience. For those who fear he's stuck on the 3-3-5 of Rodiguez's, he has plenty of experience with other schemes (although he is in the "scheme is overrated camp"). I don't think he would be to happy with the fact that the fans he plays for are bashing his father, a great man whom I also know through Hoban. If you "brilliant" football minded zips "fans" would read the article it states the man is 21-1 as a head coach. I'm sure Dr. Z and the whole crew of negative posters would be better coaches.
