Captain Kangaroo Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Until now, all I could gather is he is a defensive player. I now know he's not a defensive secondary player. It is either LB or DL. There is a connection to the Big East, but I hear conflicting stories whether he's an existing BE commit who's de-commiting. Or a still-uncommitted player who's on a BE school's offer list.Allegedly more stars than even the most pretentious sneech. Quote

ZachTheZip Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Man. I can't wait until tomorrow to find out. I'm gonna spend all day wondering who this Mr. X guy is.Scout doesn't have us offering anybody like you describe, and I cross-referenced their list with Rivals (who doesn't provide a lift of offers, just verbals/signees), and didn't find anything either. And that really is the best jpg I've seen here. Zip Watcher Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Could be the Robinson kid brought up earlier?? Pitt offer? Quote
Zipmeister Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Let me know if you need some muscle to help coax the rest of the info out of your source. I absolutely guarantee I can get you a name within 15 minutes after "reasoning" with the guy. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Well, it's a good thing that Mr. X is a box player and not a DB. We need more muscle up front. And we need to utilize that muscle with a 4-3 scheme. Quote

Zipmeister Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 I'd like to solve the puzzle Alex. I'm going with Henderson based on the string of clues provided by the Captain. Quote

Blue & Gold Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Aha! This just in. Check out Christopher Henderson's bio on Rivals. It seems as if Akron is his only scholly at this point - either Pitt decided to go in another direction or finally saw the writing on the wall that Henderson was coming to Akron? However, what perplexes me is, how is Akron Henderson's only offer when he is a 4-star former USC recruit? Is there more to the story here?http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=87712 Quote
