Captain Kangaroo Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Season StatsSeems like Texas State was a good fit for him. 10.4ppg, 4rpg, 41% from 3-point land and 80% from the FT line. Quote
skip-zip Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Thanks for the update. I really have never understood this situation, unless there was something going on internally that we didn't know about. He was getting minutes as a freshman. Even played in the MAC Championship game two years ago (had a 3-pointer that was 3/4 of the way in the basket and came out, at a key juncture of that game). Sure, maybe he still would have been squeezed for playing time last year since everyone was returning except Dru and Romeo. But, he probably would have seen increased playing time by now (his would-be Junior year). He could have been a contributor. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I was able to see him play on one of the ESPN channels about a month ago. He had a great game! If I remember correctly he was the game's leading scorer. Quote

He was in the same class with Nate Linhart and Jimmy Conyers. Quote
Hilltopper Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I think there might have been too much pressure for Rybak at this level. I thought that he was going to throw up every time he went into the game. He always had a terrified look in his face whenever he played. Quote

zip37 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I think the reason he left was Nate Linhart, I think John saw the writing on thw wall. I did shake his hand and wished him the best before he left.Anyone know what ever became of Chris Hahn? Quote
