Dr Z
It amazes me in this economy that that clown has a job. Simply amazing. I'm soooo glad he is with the PD now.
zen
Am I the only one who doesn't have a big problem with this blog article?I actually didn't find it very interesting and I skimmed through large portions, but I sortof agree with the commenters who would rather see articles like this that diverge from the constant trumpeting of worn out topics. g-mann17
Salaries of assistant coaches have been raised so that seven of the nine Martin brought when he arrived have stayed. There have been other internal improvements to the weight room and training tables.I love this line. Yeah because those assistants were so highly sought by other programs. UADavid
Just a feel good story. At least it's northeast Ohio based. It might have been worthwhile if he had given some substance to the article. I'd rather see a zips article with a lot more information in it. Shouldn't this be in the off topic, smack forum?
Captain Kangaroo
Am I the only one who doesn't have a big problem with this blog article? Not that it matters...but it was also ran on page 1 of the "print" PD. I can't say I have a big problem with the article either. It's lame, but I don't have a problem with it.I think is is always interesting to point out the absolute atrocity that is K.e.n.t. football. As bad as our 2008 campaign was @ 5-7...it would be cause for a ticker-tape parade and a 10-year contract extension @ K.e.n.t. They have had coaches going 3+ years without reaching 5 wins! Zipmeister
Sounds to me like ke.nt is about to turn the corner. Look out the rest of you teams in college fball.

Quickzips
I can't tell if this article is delusional or depressing from the perspective of a Can't State fan.Delusional: Comparing the coach to Tony Dungy, saying the team is good enough to win the MAC EastDepressing: Looking at the winning percentage of your coaches since 1987 and realizing that Doug Martin at .327 is the best you've been able to do. It's two-thirds half-full!" A bit of a stretch at .333 but anything is possible! Can't ...
ksu sucks
Looks like K.S.U picked up a decent qb verbal...Rivals LinkYeah 3 stars and offers from such Division 1 power houses like Western Carolina, Liberty, and North Carolina Central. That's why I question rivals ranking systems. If you ask me he should have just gone with the only other offer had that was worth a lick, Buffalo. Can't State's academics(or lack therof) will only hold him back in the long run.
