Zipmeister
Decent crowd but a surprising number of empty seats watching the Rockets go up by 20 at the half. Wonder if there would be any empty seats at the Info if we could get a Big 12 team to show up.

Great marketing tool there.
ksu sucks
It seems like tickets are selling pretty well for the IU game. It would be nice if ESPN/2 could pick it up.

That's tough for a MAC program to overcome.

Actually there didn't look like many empty seats to me, but I may have been seeing the patrons double after a few amber ales. I'd watch the Morgan State game that way if, one, it were televised, and two, it weren't a morning game in HI. Call me a wimp. but at least I wait till noon. Here's to Zippy though

Here's to Zippy though The game IS televised on Zips Zone (subscription required). I'm in Singapore so I doubt I'll be up at 2am to watch it live, but I will probably watch it sometime on Sunday. Blue & Gold
So on ZipsZone you can watch on-demand replays of the game? I wasn't aware of that. I thought you had to watch it live?

When I go to a college football game, the only thing I want to start at 9:00 is the digestion of my halftime hot dog. I wouldn't blame some people for not going. Also, Colorado is a terrible team. They lost to Colorado State last week at home and the entire country go to see it. People aren't stupid. They will not pay to go watch crap at 9:00. The Big 12 Conference is another conference that is too big. They need to kick two or three weaklings out of the confernce and go to round robin play and eliminate their conference championship game. They should give Colorado and Iowa State the boot.

The glass bowl has official capacitu listed at 26,000 plus.A few factors I belived led to less than full Glass Bowl.Toledo was 0-1 coming into the game and coming off a ugly 3-9 seasonThe game was played on Friday at 9PM. Ohio HS football is still big despite the state's current economic woes and urban flight that has somewhat destroyed the once proud inner city programs. IMO, had this game been played Thursday or Saturday night. There would have been a lot more fans.
