Zipsrifle Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I predict the final score will be..... displayed on the scoreboard at the Info. Too close to call, pulling for the Zips. Hope Shane and JD figure out how to run and Bain has his coming out party!! Quote

scottditzen Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 The offense looks light years ahead of last week....the defense holds tough in the last series to preserve the win!!!!INDIANA 27AKRON 28 Quote
Zips fan Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I think this team has way too much pride to lose at home. They will defend the Info and easily defeat IU.Akron 31Indiana 10also, soccer game predicitionZips win by same score 31-10(lots of offense). Quote
bandzip Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Zips by 14. Even with a new stadium, some things never change. Quote
MDZip Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Since I have been wrong so frequently lately, I'm going to go with Indiana 28 Zips 24. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I'm going to hold off until I hear something about our injury situation. Does anyone know about Martin? I saw on another thread where someone (Lee Adams?) assumed he was out. I'll admit he looked pretty tentative when he came out on Saturday. But you never know. It could have just been a tweak. I sure hope to see more of him on the field. Having said that, if the O-Line doesn't improve in run blocking it might not matter much who plays RB. Quote
freddiecoffey Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Akron 17 - Indiana 9Touchdown catch by Bowser, Touchdown scramble by Rodgers ... both in the first half. 2 missed fieldgoals, one made.Defense keeps the no TD streak alive. Team wins me more $$ by covering the spread again.Go ZIPS!!! Quote
akronad Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Zips win 27-25 on a game ending FG. Quote
cornbread Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 They run, we pass. If they don't limit our possessions and the defense does their job keeping their running game to more 3-and-outs than not, then i think it has a chance of being a blowout. As far as comparisons go, it is a reach, but look at what position the NO Saints put their opponents in. We have the right kind of mix this year to force teams into being one dimensional. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 "The Sports Network" (whatever that is), predicts a 20-17 Zip victory.Link Quote
