ctmjbowes@sbcglobal.net
Great weather, good crowd, fun game, Zips win! I hate it that the wagon wheel game is what our season was reduced to, but what the hell? It was a really fun game today. What a nice thing to be able to cheer a win for the Zippers.GO ZIPS! johnnyzip84
It was a fun game to watch. It was a gorgeous day. Nicely, LaFrance and others took a big step forward. We keep the wheel. And I don't have to change my avatar. Hoo-Ya is right!!!!

jaycevs
We have a good defense, good enough to win this conference with a offense that can score 20+ points. Its definitely something to build on. UA may not go to a bowl, but they have another opportunity next week to ruin Temple's season. If they play how they did tonight, they can get a few more W's. Dr Z
We have a good defenseWe give up 377 yards of passing from a freshman from Ken+, and we have a good defense?!? Not my idea of good D. I'll say for once I seen the staff try to put some pressure on the QB, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.

We appeared to play all zone behind the line. How about some man-to-man mixed in with the zone. A football team can only send five guys out for a pass. With eight defenders, surely some could play man-to-man with a last line of defense zone behind it. Our pass coverage is too passive.....well, our entire defensive scheme is too passive so why should I be surprised?

Not my idea of good D. I'll say for once I seen the staff try to put some pressure on the QB, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.We gave up 377 yards because the only thing Can't did all day was pass. Keith was 30/59 on the day. A 50.8 completion percentage for 12.6 ypc. Nicely was 19/34, good for a 55.9% completion percentage and 13.7 ypc. They put up so many passing yards for two reasons. The first is that they were playing from behind almost all game. The second is that they couldn't run the ball at all. It's easy to rack up huge yards through the air when you take almost 60 pass attempts.
