MDZip Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Couldn't find a pine tree but I think the symbolism here still works. I think that may be Bunbury, Nagbe and Ampaipitakwong shown working on it. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 I've been to Maples Pavillion, and I can tell you -- da tree (with help from the Cardinal student section) puts on a show unlike any other mascot. You should hope he shows up -- but Notre Dame's coming to town this weekend. Well, at least Stanford should win one! Quote

Z.I.P. Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 Folks, watch this Stanford Cardinal. As the link shows, he was Top Drawer Soccer's #1 recruit a year ago. He came off the bench and played 45 mins vs UCI on Sunday.http://www.gostanford.com/sports/m-soccer/...hi_dersu00.html Quote

ZachTheZip Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Stanford fans aren't really that enthusiastic about making the Sweet 16. Then again, their women's team is even farther into the tournament and that's a home game for them, instead of being 2500 miles away. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 The game sold out last night. If you don't have a ticket already, it's too late.I believe that it will be the first game ever at Lee Jackson Field without a walk-up crowd. All the previous sell-outs saw a significant amount of people buying a ticket at the gate. Quote
