UA Fan
The Gerry Faust "A"And the traditional "Varsity A"Of course, through the years there has always been one constant. To me, the moving A was too cheesy and amateurish (like what CMU uses now) and too yellow. At least our current logos are obviously professionally designed. I think it would be cool to have a throwback game with the retro Varsity A logo/uni's. No reason Addidas can't supply us with that.
xu9697
http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/pa...ls/lq82cr34.jpgStart with that picture!Keep the stripes on the helmet (perhaps blue/white/blue vs. white/blue/white), A-Roo instead of A, outline "Akron" and jersey numbers in white (or make them white outlined in gold). I think this would be the best mix of the old and the new. That is just a great deep blue and deep navy. Awesome!
Blue & Gold
http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/pa...ls/lq82cr34.jpgStart with that picture!Keep the stripes on the helmet (perhaps blue/white/blue vs. white/blue/white), A-Roo instead of A, outline "Akron" and jersey numbers in white (or make them white outlined in gold). I think this would be the best mix of the old and the new. That is just a great deep blue and deep navy. Awesome!I like the uniforms we've got now. But these would make sweet retro/alternate uniform. These were worn @ the blizzard bowl - the nastiest weather I've ever been out in. Btw, I prefer no stripe, but if we go with a striped helmet, I prefer the white-blue-white stripe (as pictured) as opposed to a blue-white-blue stripe. I think the striped helmet without a stripe on the pants looks sweet. The striped shoulders look nice as well. Very traditional / old-school. Plus they do make your shoulders look broader. jaycevs
Always in favor of pro style, but I like these uniforms that army has currently. The numbers in ALL gold, white strip on the shoulder, solid pants, af put the names on the back in white. UA should do something similar and traditional.

jaycevs
Army not manly, or tough? How about this one then.
Zipmeister
Army not manly, or tough? How about this one then. These would be better if they had some sequins or bead work. Also, fringe along the sleeves would be a sweet touch.
vmd9
Some of the uniforms Nike came out with last year were really cool. Sadly the suckeyes were part of this promotion, luckily theirs are the ugliest...Nike Pro Combatmy favorites are FSU, VT, and TCU.Here's FSU:and Nike even made gloves to go with, which I think are pretty sick

dgull021878
I love the fact that we keep a fresh look, and l like this past season's home uniforms a lot. I'm a football junkie, but I do consider uniforms to be apart of the whole package and I can't stand stale, old uniforms. Having updated uniforms also is a source of funding from team paraphenalia.~I liked Lee Owens, but the uniforms from his era were absolutely ATTROCIOUS! We should NEVER go back that that style of uniform! NEVER!!~Put the player's last name back on the uniform. We are not Penn St.....they have been wearing throwback uniforms since the 1800's.....it's sickening.~Although this is expensive, I would love to see an 'alternate' helmet a couple of times per season....a blue helmet with a gold 'A' would be NICE!!!~Although Oregon gets eccentric with their uniforms, I love their passion for the program, which includes the uniforms. Somtimes it's a hit....sometimes it's a miss.~Ohio State rocked some of the COLDEST 'new-age throwbacks' I've seen this season against that team up north. I get tired of the 40's-era-I-only-have-pants-in-only-one-color uniforms (a la PSU, Alabama, Iowa, etc, zzzzzzzzz). They need to rock the throwbacks more often...maybe even some black jerseys as some blogs have suggested. There's a thread on here from a couple of years ago where someone photoshopped white, gold, & blue uniforms with alternate helmets....they were NICE!! Maybe someone can repost those pics in this thread??As a fan, I don't want to see any old, stale, uncharismatic uniforms. Let's keep it fresh & modern reflecting the excitement and hope for the program. Uniforms naturally do not make the team, but as you can see by these threads alone, it gets the fans attention and that's what a growing fan-base needs.
