Yes, and I'll explain further in a piece later this week. Can't has a decent computer profile and a signature win (UAB). A 13-3 record plus winning the BB puts them at 23-8, I think, with two signature wins.

Just getting it in before the Captain... http://tinyurl.com/y8n67n2
Nice job. Better than I could have done. My favorite tidbit -
10. Bowling Green (6-7, 0-1): Only in the offensively-challenged MAC can you rank 250th nationally in FG% but fifth in the conference.
Do I see an opponent for the Zips to add to their 2010-11 OOC schedule embedded in your column? Out with Malone...in with...Akron_Herzig.jpg

The sad part was, Miami didn't even play well...and for a score at halftime be 11-24 is totally  ...oops...sorry...singletary had chance to keep Can't the victory, and of course, it "punched" him back in the mouth...

From what I saw of Can't on Saturday, two things are going to hold that team back. First, Rod Sherman is not a point guard in any sense of the word. Now you can say that the Zips don't have a pure PG either, but they at least have some good combo-guards in McNees and Hitchens and a pure PG who is working himself back into the rotation in Steward. Can't has a bunch of SG's and SF's trying to run the point. The second thing is that they lack depth. Tonight is a perfect example as in an overtime game Evans, Greene and Sherman all played better than 35 minutes, and for all intents and purposes they really only played six guys, their starting 5 and Simpson. Three others struggled to log 10 minutes in an OT game. That will burn them eventually, probably in the tournament where depth is critical, or in a game where foul trouble (or in the case of Singletary outright ejections) becomes a problem.

I would expect Randall Holt to starting taking on more duties at the point. He's a good prospect and just got his first start at Ohio. He's been ice cold from the field, and I imagine that's holding him back.
