Captain Kangaroo
This thread has quickly dropped to the depths of idiocracy. I can't believe it's even being discussed. ONE team of 340 wins it all. Hope for continous improvement, which we have. Be patient, Zips fansI kind of agree. I wanted to post a "Great Game Zips" message in this thread...but after reading it's progressive decline...I don't know if it is a good idea to extend it's life? But since I already did - I'm glad Humpty is back and playing well. He drives me up the wall when he drifts into his shooting slumps. But he's the guy I want dribbling the ball when the game's on the line. Every time. Humpty, and the foul-riddled Cventinovic have the assassin's mentality. If we beat VCU, those will be the guys that will carry us. Maybe Zeke too...he said before the K.e.n.t. game that he is a "big game" player.Great job against Ball State. A nice road win!
zipsbandman
I'll make an attempt to save this thread. It's frustrating to see us lose to scrub teams and yes there are those same issues that seem to plague this team year after year. A lot of that I think you can attribute to talent and athleticism. KD is a guy who gets the most out of his players, but remember it's the player that ultimately plays the game. We don't have the talent to really separate ourselves from the rest of the pack. We don't have consistent playmakers on offense. Can't gets them but they can only do so by taking in the baggage that comes with that player. Unfortunately, we are a product of the MAC, and we have to accept that. We are a one bid league. We have trouble scheduling decent opponents at home. On top of that, our basketball facilities are crummy, and our fan base is apathetic. For what KD has to work with here, he's doing a damn good job. RootforRoo44
While i dont think KD's seat is even the least bit warm...it should be. We were lucky last year, and with even better talent coming in each year it seems like we still haven't been going anywhere. I'm sick of losing EVERY big game.Somebody needs to let him know that his job isn't secure by just winning 20 games against 19 crappy opponents. Will Most of the quiet down if the zips beat kent3/5?YES
