Quickzips
16 offensive boards. Unacceptable. If I'm KD right now Patterson, Swiech, Sullivan, Carroll and Steward are playing the rest of this game. He wants to send a message with suspensions and crap, go all out. If you aren't going to give an effort, you'll sit your ass down.
ZachTheZip
McNeese gets two quick threes. At least somebody wants to score.
GoZips88
Rebounding = some luck + good positioning + lots of heart, desire and determination.
RowdyZip
http://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/gamecast?gameId=300402117What you don't want to see is a horizontal line. Ideal is a diagonal line...
ZachTheZip
Does nobody guard the threes?
Quickzips
This is embarrassing.
akronzips71
This is embarrassing.I am watching this on zips zone. They are just not hustling. Especially on the offensive boards.
ZachTheZip
We gave up 20 offensive rebounds to them already. Do they just not care?
Quickzips
Central has taken 15 more shots than the Zips right now. 20 offensive boards for Central, 15 turnovers for the Zips. You won't win any games with that kind of an effort.
ZachTheZip
Maybe we should suspend the entire 2-deep.
Quickzips
Have to wonder if this team has just lost some confidence in KD.
ZachTheZip
Have to wonder if this team has just lost some confidence in KD.I don't think that's the case.I see a clear lack of leadership from the players. Somebody needs to step up and say enough is enough. I would prefer it to be an upperclassman, but I don't think that will happen.
RowdyZip
Have to wonder if this team has just lost some confidence in KD. Seriously?
mes102
Or maybe we should suspend the REFS and TEAM for a game...i'm at U of A right now to get my degree in Sport Studies to become a D1 college basketball coach...I feel like just going and give this team an old-fashioned Don Haskins practice...this is unacceptable to me...very sad... Quickzips
Cvetinovic fouls out, at least he does it hustling for a steal I guess.
ZachTheZip
Nikola fouls out. What now?
MDZip
We're losing to a team that is shooting less than 30% Wow.
Quickzips
About the only good thing you can say about this game for the Zips is at least we are only down 6 w/ under 4 to go. If Central were any kind of a decent team they would be up 20 on us right now, minimum.
ZachTheZip
6 assists to 17 turnovers.
akronzips71
This is actually the worst I have seen them play. They look like they are playing against a Pro team. Turnover after turnover, no hustle on the offensive boards. Just awful
Quickzips
Steve McNees is 4-4 from 3 tonight, looks like he is going to have to take the shots here down the stretch if we wanna pull this off.
zippy5
turning into a shootout down the stretch haha
