UAZip0510
http://is.gd/91M7CAkron holds steady."Quietly closing in on a 25-win season""This is the MAC’s best team, no question"So apparently they are the MAC's best team and it's not even arguable (even though they lost to Miami, Buffalo destroyed them on the road, BG took them out at Can't, and they haven't played at Akron yet). And I guess that makes them the best team in the MAC, even though Akron has the same conference record and is the defending champion.Think before you write fellas... Dave in Green
Zips have to beat Can't at the JAR the way Can't beat the Zips at Can't in order to end any doubt about who's number one in the MAC. But let's focus on Buffalo and Bowling Green first.
OZoner
Cool demotivator. I guess I should have had that person four years ago take the picture when it was more acceptable to you, CK.Yeah, identical overall record, but one team played a much tougher schedule than the other, and that same team also handled the other in their only meeting so far. Also, Akron's not the defending champion. Bowling Green (and Buffalo) claim that. Akron is the defending tournament champion.
Captain Kangaroo
Cool demotivator. I guess I should have had that person four years ago take the picture when it was more acceptable to you, CK.Your lack of class is never acceptable to me. Not in 2006. Not in 2010.You call Coach Dambrot a racist. That is a major, MAJOR accusation. You actually spent the time to create a cute sign to show at the Convo calling him a racist, accuse him of punching a player, etc. Now you come on our board dressed up as some gracious OU fan and try to drive traffic to your web site.If people want to check out your site, so be it. But it is incumbent upon me to let ZN members know who they're supporting. That picture was posted on bobcatattack.com as recently as January 2010. If it is 4 years old, you sure are getting a lot of mileage out of it. I hope you are proud of it.If I made a "Frank Solich is a Drunk" sign four years ago after his arrest, and milked it to this day, it would take some serious stones for me to go on bobcatattack.com and act like I'm some sweetheart Zips fan. And I couldn't even imagine how I could justify asking them them to support my business. You reap what you sew.

Don't get me wrong I hope that the one scenario that gets Buffalo the #1 seed actually transpires but I would have traded seasons with Akron in a New York Second last season. All the regular season is for is seeding and a lock in for the NIT. Whoever walks out of Cleveland a winner walks out with the hardware and with tickets to the dance. All that being said.... Let's Go Bulls!
The Hip Zip
I think he ranked the top two the only way he could at this time. We have the chance to prove him wrong and change that beginning with tonights game. For the record, Ball St in the 3 spot is a joke and I think your Bobcats should be pushed up a spot or two. Groce takes a lot of flack in Athens but he's done a great job to get OU to bounce back after a period when they could have easily folded. I don't think that anybody would enjoy drawing the Bobcats in Cleveland.

Ball State beat both Buffalo and Miami.I may have been a bit harsh bit still think that they are overrated.Beating Miami is not that tough of a trick. I just think that this is poorest Mia. team in recent memory. I have watched more than a couple games where Miami just had horrible shooting, especially from behing the arc. Kenny Hayes is not quite the same player that he was before his injury and they miss Bramos's ability to knock down the 3 ball. The caught the Bulls when they were in a real funk and not playing well at all against anybody. The same could almost be said for their win vs. OU. I really don't think OU truly started playing really good ball until the Western game and then OU came up here and probably played their best game despite the loss. The OU win vs a pretty good Wright State team indicates that the Cats are a very dangerous team right now. I think if you or Buffalo had Ball St again that the either would beat them handily either at home or a neutral floor.I really think that this is the most wide open MAC tourney of them all. I would not be surprised at all to see a lower seeded team get hot and make a hell of a run.
MDZip
Teams that we could possibly draw in our first round that I am not least bit interested in playing, only one: OU. Somebody please knock them out early.
Captain Kangaroo
OZoner - Uh, no. I said he used racial slurs. Did I make this up? No.Is this the same as calling him a racist? Absolutely not.No it's totally different. It's like saying he likes spaghetti or had a pet hamster as a kid. Are you for real?OZoner -Using your own analogy, what if it was a sign about Solich? Would you have a problem with it then?Great argument. No...no I would not care if you called Solich anything. I don't care about Solich. I do care about University of Akron coaches. Again - are you for real? Is that your best counterpoint?OZoner - If you're so judgmental that you're going to define me based on that one thing, go ahead. But I don't feel the need to be a jerk around these parts because of a sign I made four years ago.You define Dambrot by something he said 15 years ago, but you can't be defined by something you wrote 4 years ago. And which you don't seem to mind being appearing on your school's message board to this day. At least, until it gets called out. Then, rather than apologize for it as a stupid youthful mistake, you try to spin it to oversensitivity on a Zips fan's part? I would respect an apology. I don't respect spin. O-zoner -Dambrot and I are cool. Maybe, just maybe, you're making a mountain out of a molehill.Maybe, just maybe, you haven't shown him your cute sign? Or is your only problem that it's about a current UA employee?OZoner - If you're so judgmental that you're going to define me based on that one thing, go ahead. No, I don't define him by that. Then? Yes. Now? No. And it's both a stupid mistake on my part and oversensitivity on your part. There's a tendency on Bobcat Attack to post old pictures on threads about upcoming opponents. That's the only reason it got put up there. It in no way represents how I feel today.I will be clearer: The sign was a bad idea. The picture in 2010 was thoughtless. It was called out then by Ohio assistant John Rhodes, and it is no more true today than it ever was. I will not post that picture again. Dambrot is a good guy. I apologized to him, and I am sorry.O-zoner -Dambrot and I are cool. Still, it's not BSU's fault other teams might not have been playing their best when the Cardinals played them. They won those games, and it's hard for me to mitigate them. They play really good defense and gave you guys all you could handle in Muncie. That convinced me they're a good team (by MAC standards).I would take BSU against OU on a neutral court. The 'Cats are overrated right now.
