Z.I.P.
Another quick confirmation on Moore. Even has a quote from him. Yes, it is cold up here, but take heart: at least the locker rooms at the Info are heated properly, unlike at the Rubber Bowl. He's already on campus and taking classes. He's also listed as the top JUCO QB in the country. If you read that article again, you'll see, he's (considered by one writer) the top JUCO QB in Mississippi. Although Mississippi may have more JCs than anywhere outside Cali.
KentZip
A new LB offer - don't think I saw him on Scouts. http://commercial-news.com/sports/x2339629...l-of-Fame-visit
ZachTheZip
Nick Rossi just got bumped up to a 4* recruit by Scout. Usually you see the opposite when a player verbals to a MAC school.

I'm wondering if there have been a few new offers since a couple of UA recruits have recently selected other schools (WMU, CMU, Pitt)? Here is his Scout profile. How else can we explain his interpretation that the lone ranger is the top juco qb in the nation when the article on which he bases the claim says that Moore is somewhere between #20 and #40. Also, it would make no sense to be heating the Rubber Bowl locker rooms at this point as the facility is no longer in operation.

Because that article doesn't just list QBs. Moore is the top QB on that list, but other players at other positions are listed ahead of him. S Shutang Mungwa TE Sam Collura Are both these guys not already commit's, One to Pitt and the other to Syracuse. If we can sway them this way it would be something!! The one who committed to Pitt was recruited by the old staff, and I think opened up his recruitment. I don't hold out much hope in getting either of these players, however. Ianello has twelve days to bring in seven more recruits. And they had better be some of the best recruits in the MAC if we want even a remote chance of getting to .500 this season. We don't need the other MAC schools taking away these kids from us. I am not sure where the priorities are as far as depth at what positions but if we can grab a 3+ End we would be stupid not to. With Lemon gone and the lack of depth on D-line we need at least 2 of these guys if we can. C'mon coaches lets get to work and get commit's from some of these kids, Stop sitting on the fence waiting on the kids who are 4+ rating and are looking at bigger schools as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices before MAC schools. Dr Z
ScoutingOhio says that Kicker Anthony "A.J." Fox has verballed to Akron! If he kicks FG's here, I would hope some student would have a big sign with a hole in it that said "Foxhole." He could stand on the rise between the posts when kicking at that end. Dr Z
Yes he does, should that be disclosed here ?If you don't feel comfortable, then error on the side of caution. By all means, let us know after signing day. PS Brewton has an offer, and listed as a rivals two star.

Can't see any of those guys coming to Akron. There are 27 three star DE's not committed. Out of those 27, I'm going to guess it's Andre Sturdivant since he is the highest 3 star that is from the area and being recruited by Toledo. He has offers from PSU and Michigan. I would guess we have a small in since we have a Glenville relationship now, but I would be very impressed if iCoach can convince him to come here rather than Happy Valley. He might be waiting for a Columbus offer. Somebody called for it back in early Dec. Possible help to our chances?

ZachTheZip
Six spots left. This is where Ianello needs to prove that it's the coach and not the program that got all those recruiting rewards while he was at his other jobs. Pull off a few last-minute surprises. I remember hearing that this class would be heavy on JUCOs but to date we only have two recruits from that area.
