Anyone notice how much we are looking like ND (uniform wise) these days in those practice phots?

JK..sort of.

But Blue jerseys seem darker on practice unis than the past, A-Roo is gone (which is typical) and even the pants seem more "ND gold". Perhaps just b/c I got used to seeing the new uniforms last year with blue pants. Hmmmm.

Word on the street is Ianello had the existing scoreboard torn down. New 2010 InfoCision endzone view is below:

What's funny about that photo is that it seems like UND has been irrelevant since they obstructed the view of TD Jesus.

Coincidence? I think not!

Good article. Nice work Tom!

I wonder how many million emails he got in his inbox after the last one that made it ok to do this article.

On a related note, my wife and I had the opportunity to meet some of the FB coaches at the Cadillac Ranch last month. When I saw the staff coming together on paper, I was pretty impressed with the pedigree of these guys. Meeting them in person confirmed it. I'm blown away by the experience level that the FB program has in the coaching staff now .. blow away.

Latina especially was a real nice guy to talk to. If you have the opportunity, don't pass it up. Great guy.

B) B)

Go Zips!

Maybe we need one of those to change our fortunes. Anything would help.

My two favorite quotes from the article. Nice job Tom.

''We are going to ask ourselves what is the best way to win the game that week,'' Latina said. ''Some weeks, the quarterback will be under center. Some weeks it will be the shotgun. Some weeks we will have to run the ball more. Some weeks we will have to throw the ball more.''

''A lot of spread offenses use zone blocking schemes. We will run some of that, but we are also going to do some other things,'' Latina said. ''Some of it is going to be foreign to the guys we have coming back

On a silly note: What about touchdown Buddhas in the landscaped corners of the endzone? Players could rub the belly and hope for magical turnovers?...or maybe we should just stick to running the football on offense, and stopping the run on defense.
