Akron September opponent's coach in hot water?

More lies come to to light...Lies, lies and more lies.....

My wife called him the lyingist liar who ever lied. His worst nightmare came true last night when the basketball team lost. OSU fans have already forgotten they have a basketball team and are now focusing on football.

It's only going to get worse. SOMEONE needs to step in and get the ball rolling on Tressel's firing. It can be members of the Board of Directors if the president of the University isn't going to step in. There is a bigger picture here as well and it has nothing to do with football and everything to do with the integrity of the flagship university of Ohio. This is starting to leave a stink beyond football, all the way up to the president of the University. It looks terrible and everyone in Ohio supports every state university through tax money. The taxpayers deserve better. OSU needs to fire Tressel and then throw themselves at the mercy of the NCAA. If they don't do these things internally, then someone from the outside has to step in. The governor of Ohio has a lot to do and this isn't something he should be involved, but if they can't get it together at tOSU, he is going to have to step in. It would be a shame if it got to that point, but it seems as if there is not going to be another way out.

One side of me agrees with you.

The other side of me just wants to continue to sit back and laugh hysterically as they keep digging their hole deeper with lies and excuses.

Who is going to call the offense against the Zips?

- Bollman, offensive coordinator/offensive line

- Nick Siciliano, quarterbacks

- Dick "Doc" Tressel, running backs

- Stan Drayton, wide receivers

- John Peterson, tight ends

Bollman and Doc Tressel, a former head coach at Division III Hamline University, look like the top two options for offensive play-calling. Drayton is entering his first season at Ohio State and will be working with receivers for the first time. Siciliano and Peterson haven't held coordinator posts.

How will the offense change with Bollman and/or Doc Tressel calling plays? Keep in mind Ohio State also will be dealing with a new starting quarterback for the Akron game.

Against the Zips, I don't think it will matter much. They will just script the entire game, maybe even with a couple of pass plays for the practice. But hey, we'll get the paycheck which will allow us to continue our program and hopefully start climbing back out of the hole and find out if TW will be able to stay or not.

You think they are going to script 60 plays and just go down the list? I would like to bet you on that. I'm pretty sure if I sat through a week of practice with Mr Liar and he let me use his game day play sheet, I would have no problem calling the first 5 games. I would guess any clown on the list above will do the same, some better than others. I'll guess anyone of those clowns makes adjustments as to what the Zips are doing defensively on the first couple of series. Believe it or not, I think calling the game will be an issue for Columbus U. Watch and see if the Buckeyes go three and out in the first possession how the fans react in the shoe. If you read the comments below the article, there are even Columbus fans that think this change will be great, they actually think they will "open up" the offense. I would not.

I may be stepping in it here, but I think we have a better shot of winning, given the current situation, than we did in 2001. If that year is right.?. A few plays go differently that year and we win the game. Score was not as bad as it appeared. I wish we had more juniors and seniors starting for the experience and size factor against tOSU's second level players. Hell, it's a crap shoot. We have no idea how we will be next year, but I remain hopeful.

A billboard has been put up on I-94 in the state that pokes fun at the struggles of Buckeyes coach Jim Tressel. The sign says "Liar, Liar, Vest on Fire," taking Tressel to task for his penchant for wearing sweater vests and his current troubles with the NCAA that has seen the coach be accused of major violations in a notice of allegations to the school.

If somebody is looking for a kewl shirt to wear to the game, I bet Columbus fans will buy you a beer when they see this one:

So, which players are suspended for the game against us? Is anyone keeping a running tally?

So far, I count Terrelle Pryor, Mike Adams, Boom Herron, DeVier Posey, Solomon Thomas, and now Dorian Bell.

They're dropping like flies...

Third time violation of the same team rule? That must be some sweet weed he refuses to share.
