Z.I.P.
What are Shaka Smart's chances to be the next coach at Tennessee? Isn't Wake still looking for a coach? I would think Shaka would be better fitted for that job than the pressure cooker of Knoxville. And he could be neighbors with the Great GP-1. Hmmmmmm
skip-zip
Tenn fired Bruce Pearl-- Good for them, ANYONE think TOSWho will fire Tressel? I don't, he'll skate. Let's See... With an AD who claims to have complete trust in his subordinate who has lied to him on several occassions? And a president who makes a comment that seems to indicate that the coach is his boss? I don't think he's going anywhere, and the whole situation will continue to add to my daily laughter
bUAkronG
we need to have a subforum for Ohio State hatred so I can choose to steer clear of that forum altogether. It is unreal how much people hate the Buckeyes around here.

They had trouble getting a decent person to apply for what they had. Coach Smart would have been the smart choice if he was available. Dave in Green
The following story is a deep dive into an early chapter in Bruce Pearl's career, and a glimpse into the dark side of college basketball: deadspin.com
Zipmeister
I've heard several commentators mention Smart as a top candidate for the Tennessee position. Pressure or not, that would be a great next step in his coaching career. And I don't care for OSU either.

Dr Z
From Gaffney's Wednesday article: Dan Marcoux also said he is not upset that the renowned Tressel is not coaching in the game. ''I am not an Ohio guy. I guess it is an Ohio thing,'' said Marcoux, who is from Ramsey, N.J. ''If I don't get a chance to shake his hand, I am not going to lose any sleep over it.'' There are pathetic, grown men in Ohio who, if given the chance to be close to Tressel, would try to run up and hug him.
