Creighton Game

Recommended Posts

1-1 Final.

While a game that ends in a tie is often held akin to kissing your own sister, this game tells

us that once again Caleb has put forth an amazing group of young players.

Not only is Creighton ranked tenth they are a veteran side that only lost two players from

their NCAA tournament caliber program.

The Zips need a huge turn out of AK-Rowdies for the Cleveland State match

next Saturday. Be there or transfer to cant.

They'll be there for the Cleveland State game. The first game is usually packed. However, why just the Cleveland State game? Why not the whole season? In fact, why just show up to Men's Soccer? Why not Women's Soccer? Especially September 4th at 1pm, since the NFL season doesn't start until the 11th, and they're hosting Michigan State? Come on Rowdies, stop being fair weather, bandwagon fans. If you don't show up, you're already saying that You're a Can't Statecks fan, but go to Akron.

It needs to stop. People say we have the best student/ overall fanbase in the whole country. I highly doubt that. Let me name a couple for you right off the top of my head. Indiana, UCLA, UCSB, Maryland, and Wake Forest. Can't tell me we have better fan support(student or overall) than all of these programs. I've never been impressed. Only one I was sort of impressed was the Tulsa-Akron game. So if a student is not impressed, what's making the average Joe interested in soccer? The team's conference and/or national contention. You can keep these average fans coming if the atmosphere, the play, and the attendance is remarkable. We have one and a half of those right now. SO GET OUT TO THESE GAMES, NOT FOR LEISURE OR A SOCIAL GATHERING, BUT FOR WAR!!!!!!!!!

Yedlin played 1st half at LB and second at RB. I don't know if Breines switched to LB in 2nd but he started at RB in first. Mayer should be good to go next week.

yeah talked to mayer yesterday, said he will be ready to go. Not sure if this has been noted any where but we wont have Luke Holmes the first 7 games bc of the whole switch from NAIA to NCAA rule. The game he comes back for is OSU which is A ok with me

I think it was mentioned but I'm not sure about that rule...I was under the impression that here was no penalty in soccer, even transferring between NCAA D1 schools. Are you sure it's a NAIA to D1 thing?
