johnnyzip84
The line started at Redhawks -16.5, but is currently down to -14.5. Miami should be feeling more confident after blowing away U@B last week. Can the Zip offense sustain the momentum it seemed to be gathering in the 2nd half vs. CMU for an entire game? Dr Z
Can the Zip offense sustain the momentum it seemed to be gathering in the 2nd half vs. CMU for an entire game? Best case scenario: we look back at that half as the offensive turning point.
ZachTheZip
Short week with the game being on Thursday. How will the players respond after losing the way they did? How much longer until the coaches abandon the pro offense for the Pistol?
Doug Snyder
We are leaving fo the game on Tuesday and will stay the thru Friday. Anyone going can stop by the Best Western on campus to share a beer or just say "hello". Hoping for a close Zip victory.

The "Big Ben" was the cruelest defeat (maybe in Zip MAC football history?), but there have been a few others that were there for the taking. Even CJ7 had a shot a few years ago in a 7-0 defeat IIRC. johnnyzip84
Gaffney scouts Miami, among other MAC football stories.Treadwell uses the "P" word “The players are getting a much better feel of what we are demanding and what we want done. By the same token, we are getting a feel for what they are able to execute. Those things hopefully marry as you go through the process.”
Dave in Green
ALL head football coaches use the P word. Every single one of them. Try a Google search for the terms process + football + coach and you'll find that every big-name winning football coach will show up in the more than 18 million hits. Dave in Green
Fearless prediction: Ianello will make at least one call that will be questioned on ZN.o.
Dr Z
Fearless prediction: Ianello will make at least one call that will be questioned on ZN.o. You should have been on a Steelers forum when Cowher coached. Especially before Ben. Cowher didn't make as big as bonehead calls as i"Coach", but he did make as many weekly. Captain Kangaroo
Fearless prediction: Ianello will make at least one call that will be questioned on ZN.o. I hope it is a 1st quarter 2nd and 5 call, and not one on the final play of the game.

Dr Z
I apologize. My post seems to be getting interpreted wrong by some. Please replace the word "bonehead calls" with "mistakes" in my above post when reading.

Anyone going can stop by the Best Western on campus to share a beer or just say "hello". Hoping for a close Zip victory.I know you have your reasons, but since UA has NEVER won down (AS A MAC MEMBER) there I'll take ANY victory without the qualifiers thank you very much After reading one of the recent Gaffney articles, I have to edit my statement (in bold) above. World War 2 was only 7 weeks old the last (and only) time the Zips won in Oxford. Apparently UA also managed a tie on an even earlier occasion. Zipmeister
Fearless prediction: Ianello will make at least one call that will be questioned on ZN.o. In which area of the game will he make the most bone-headed calls: offense, defense, or special teams?
ZachTheZip
Looks like any "progress" we saw last week was just a result of CMU being a terrible opponent.
Big Zip
I feel like our guys don't understand what they are supposed to be doing out there...how is it possible to be this bad? I would like to see Dorazio at this point...I have now seen enough of LR8 and PN7.
Zipgrad01
Looks like any "progress" we saw last week was just a result of CMU being a terrible opponent. This is just embarrassing to watch this on national television. 2 touchdowns where a guy isnt even covered, a drive where they just run it down our throat and a coach that punts on an opponents 35 when we are down 14-0. How can we not fire this f'ing idiot?

johnnyzip84
Gotta love the way this team rises to the occasion and keeps showing steady improvement as the season progresses. We should decline every TV appearance for the next 5 years. Rob Ianello is PATHETIC. And now the team is finally, FINALLY, quitting on him.I spoke too soon lol Nice goal line stand.
