InTheZone
http://baltimoresportsreport.com/towson-fo...land-22509.html Waddell's been very successful in his short time at Towson, and has really got that athletic department and community cookin'. Kind of makes you wonder what sort of shape our athletic program (and specifically, football program) would be in if the advice of the athletic alumni had been followed when we were hiring an AD. As for this ad campaign, for those of you who know Mike, it's got his name writen all over it!
Blue & Gold
Nice! Is Waddell the one responsible for that sweet opening video they used to play before basketball games - the one w/ Zippy drop kicking the Toledo Rocket, the Can't State Golden Flash, the OU Bobcat & Columbus' own Brutus Buckeye? Dr Z
Wonder if Mike would have hired a Rob Ianello? Mike gets it. He will do great wherever he is because he is passionate about what he does. I would wish him luck, but he doesn't need luck. Wonder where his next job will be? You didn't like JD. Waddell was on the team that hired JD. We might be in exactly the same position we are in now. Hunter should be the AD right now. I guess if good marketing in the minors is taking cheap shots at a larger school, then this is a good billboard. The cheap shots strike me as childish to be honest. Never cloud a positive message with childish behavior. Many remember Waddell as the "Master of Billboards". I remember him as the guy who got in a pissing match with another University employee on this board, on his way out the door, using one of his various names....childish. Waddell really had no say in the matter. If it'd been up to him, I can tell you for a fact a very different path would've been followed, but that's neither here nor there. Say whatever you want about Mike, but like Dr. Z said, he's passionate about his work, and he succeeds.

He always struck me as the type of guy who would say just about anything someone wanted to hear. Actually, they all kind of strike me in that manner.
