^^^ I hate how they say Uniontown, OH because Green is a City in and of it self. Oh well. The OHSAA site and Gozips.com lists Green as Uniontown. Who knows? :thumb:

I'm a little nervous that they offered Christian so early. Good for him but really he is a big kid that times doesn't have very much control of his body. I don't know how many times this past season he would be literally 1 foot away from sacking the QB and then would run right by him. Tons oof missed tackles. On offense had many missed catches that hit him in the chest. I'm sure his highlights and physical stats show otherwise but I was not very impressed with him. IMO

Hmm. Interesting insight. Thanks for posting this observation. The staff must be attempting to forecast for potential?

Yea, I believe it was his first year on Varsity under a new staff so I'm not quite sure if he was playing a new positions (at TE/DE) and wasn't typically used to playing there but man alive I dont know how many times I would be in the stands screaming at the kid "Just tackle the QB HES RIGHT THERE!!"At Green typically if you any size at all you are pretty much on either OL/DL and I suspect that he grew much taller than he did outward so the staff put him at TE (this is all speculation Im not really familiar with his past football experience) they would throw dump passes to him and at time were very successful. Maybe he can get coached up or maybe I'm being overly critical because he made errors that left me scratching my head at critical parts of games this past season. But maybe 6'5 230 speaks loudly?!?! Andrew Pratt that just signed with the Zips is a much more talented athlete.

Heres a roster for Green: fridaynightohio.com

According to scoutingohio.com, Akron offered three players from Moeller today:

RB Keith Watkins (also offered by WVU today; already had offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati, B.C., Northwestern, Minnesota)

http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view...ame=Watkins_K13

LB Shane Jones (also offered by Oklahoma today; already had offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Kentucky, Minnesota, Arizona)

http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view...87&name=SJ8

OL Alex Gall (already had offers from Kentucky, Toledo, Ohio and Bowling Green)

http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view...p;name=alexgall

Not sure if the Zips will have a shot at any of the three (based on offers Gall is the best bet), but trying to make some inroads at Moeller is never a bad idea. Overall, it seems like TB and company are going to focus the instate recruiting efforts most heavily in greater Cleveland-Akron-Canton and Cincinnati. Again, not a bad idea.

Don't give up on Central Ohio, I need to go watch Zips recruits on Friday nights this fall too. :) There is plenty of talent in this neck of the woods also.
