Blue & Gold Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Versus Eastern Michigan, courtesy of the Akron Beacon Journal. Tree's picture is #8. He is shredded beyond belief and ready to absolutely tear the rim off. Quote
akronzips71 Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 He has an NBA body and is the real stud of this team. If he stays healthy, in school and out of jail, he will develop into a superstar. For all his height, Zeke gets pushed around on the court. Not Tree. He is one big strong player with springs for legs. Quote

Tree's picture is #8. He is shredded beyond belief and ready to absolutely tear the rim off. I think you mean "cut" not shredded. Quote
The Hip Zip Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I have arms like that, the hops too Quote
Jalapeño Zippy Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I was kind of hoping he would pass the ball to #42 on our team, the new walk on so he could get in the books with some points. I changed my mind about 3 seconds later... Quote

I changed my mind about 3 seconds later... I didn't change my mind. #42 may never have another chance to score a college bucket. Both Harney and Tree had wide-open chances to give the kid the ball during the final two minutes, and elected to take it themselves. Tree's dunk was great, but bucket by #42 was what the remaining crowd, and the guys on the bench wanted to see. I hope they dish it off next time...assuming there is a next time. Quote
Zipmeister Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I think you mean "cut" not shredded. and after that shot, the rim was shaken, not stirred. Quote
tpsjugglerdude Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Poor #42...no name on his jersey......wrong jersey.....wrong number.....no basket. He is actually #3. Quote

There will be a next time Quote
B4110 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 He's got a big upside to his game. the scary part is he doesnt even know " how to play" yet. Once he settles down and is more patient, 15 and 10 every night. The best is yet to come! Quote

johnnyzip84 Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 I was doing my typical lunch time Zip daydreaming today, when I started to consider what would happen if Coach Bowden ever had the talents of Tree in his arsenal. I think it would only be a question of whether Tree would be Ed "Too Tall" Jones at DE or an even bigger Antonio Gates at TE. Quote

Football is what it is, hoops is close to being a national presence. Let's not ruin that. Quote
