The Hip Zip
" It's almost impossible to beat the same team 3 times in a season" Bulls **t... We won the first two because we're flat out the better team. It should be no different tonight.
RootforRoo44
Statistically it is harder but on a game-by-game basis of course it doesn't matter. Akron is a better team than Can't (or any team in the MAC) PERIOD. If we play our game we beat any team in this conference 10 straight times...let alone 3. GP1
I thought this thread was going to be about defense winning championships. Not beating a team three times a year is in the top three though.
zippy5
Teams that lost twice use it to make themselves feel better. They know we own them.
Dave in Green
Two of Sun Tzu's basic principles from The Art of War are applicable, with special attention to #2: 1. Study your enemy. 2. Never underestimate your enemy.

Dr Z
" It's almost impossible to beat the same team 3 times in a season"Myth? Hell, it's a NEO tradition, the Browns have done it TWICE, 1994 AND 2002. They lost three times to the Steelers both years. The 2002 playoff game still ranks in my top five best games attended. I was there for that one, I'll be there for this one. Carry on the tradition Ken+!

OZoner
The team that wins the first two also wins the third more often than not.
