Sergeant Zip
Fourth Eastern League pennant since it moved to Akron/Canton area in 1989.
Dr Z
Unbelievable with the lack of talent on that team. I went to a game this year and it was almost unwatchable.
Hilltopper
The Indians front office has proven that they are experts at identifying AA talent. Too bad none of those guys have enough talent to make it to the majors.

Then there's their affinity to play Kotchman and Duncan and the other geezers and leave Canzler in Columbus all year. Oh well, at least we have the Aeros. Dr Z
.... trades like U-bad-o that rape the system.Yeah, they are really missing the #5 overall pick, and a #15 overall pick!?!? Rape? More like a favor taking the Indians #1 picks away from them. Worst decade (or more) of drafting I have ever seen in a franchise! How can anybody be that bad at their job and continue to get a pay check? As bad as Ubaldo has been, combine both these clowns win totals and multiply it by three to get Ubaldo's win total (9)!?!? Yes, but both White and Pomeranz are essentially first year players. Name one top-shelf starter (outside of Verlander) that was dominant, or even good, during their first full year? I'll do some of the work for you; none of these guys make the cut: Hernandez, Sabathia, Halladay, Lee, Haren, Cain, Price ... need I go on? The Rockies got potential. Granted, it might not work out, but next year, Pomeranz could develop into that no. 3 starter he is supposed to be and White could stick in the bullpen as an eighth inning guy. The Indians, however, got another head case that makes millions more than they can afford.

When the trade was made, I would take the future potential of either pitcher over Ubado. Now, I would take the future potential of either pitcher over Ubado. Dr Z
I liked the days when we didn't have to use the word "potential," and talked about playoffs. I wish the owner and the GM had "potential." Worst run organization in baseball. Hats off to Akron for winning under these circumstances.
