K92
Can't is playing at Buffalo tonight. Both teams beat their FCS opponent and lost to their SEC foe. Can't got thrashed by Kentucky who turned around and lost in OT to WKU. We certainly fared better against Morgan State than Buff, so it will be interesting to see how they stack up against Can't. If Buff should prevail somewhere around 52-34, I am predicting somewhere around a 66-6 win for the Zips at Dick Stadium. Go Canada!
Captain Kangaroo
I thought Towson would put up a better fight against K.e.n.t. That scared me a little...I thought K.e.n.t. might actually be mediocre this season. Then the diseased birds laid a big fat egg against a terrible K.entucky team. Spencer Keith has regressed more than any QB in MAC history. Buffalo wins 45-30.
Spin
These teams are very similar, I have Buffalo winning based on home field. Very interesting game, both teams are beatable, I wish we had Buffalo this year. I had Akron finishing 6th this year, but if we keep playing like we did in the conference games, we could jump either (or both) in the standings. tpsjugglerdude
Nice to see they put up a graphic with MAC stories of the week and it was OU and Akron. Score prediction: 17-10 Buffalo blows it in front of their home crowd.

But can they stop a real passing attack? We'll see. Both offenses, other than Archer, are b-o-r-i-n-g zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

K92
The only entertaining part of this contest was when Fisher came into the game. He looks like Ice-T circa 1989.

Low talent, terrible play-calling, multiple bungles...horiffic kicking...very poor national showing for the MAC. How did Buffalo give Georgia any sort of game? Zips Win!
How come nobody told me that Clayton Moore resurfaced at UB. Why didn't he have to sit out a year? Dude was terrible.. The MAC RULES!
Z.I.P.
Tonight the First District Court for New York decided that inmates at SingSing were allowed to watch ANY channel except ESPNU. Otherwise would constitute cruel and inhuman punishment.
Spin
Who does the scheduling anyhow? Unfortunately that was the MAC only game this week that looks to be close. WM vs UConn and NIU Kansas should be good games, but they're looking for conference matchups. So it was either Dumb and Dumber, or UMess at Miami. GP1
Way off on the result, spot-on with Spencer Keith. I think you are being a little to hard on Spencer Keith. He seems to hand the ball off well enough.....

GP1
One other thing.... I've been saying it for years. The key to winning in the MAC is scoring lots of points and waiting for the other team to poop their pants trying to keep up. We have an offense that moves the ball and scores. The Zips can beat both UB and Can't using that proven method of success in the MAC.

They are the one MAC East team we miss while we play just about every team at the top of the MAC West. The Zips have the toughest in-conference schedule of any MAC team if you ask me. They are the one MAC East team we miss while we play just about every team at the top of the MAC West. The Zips have the toughest in-conference schedule of any MAC team if you ask me. If we were playing only MAC East teams this year (or even if we got the MAC West cupcake schedule that OU got), I honestly think second would not be out of the question (or more likely about a four way tie for second). There is not one team in the East other than OU that impresses me (including Akron) which means that anybody could finish just about anywhere in the pack (though I think UMass will grab the bottom slot and Buffalo right ahead of them). I could see Miami, Can't, Akron, or BGSU taking anywhere from second to to fifth. The Miami game will be very interesting and telling. Glad I am going to be there for that one. And could someone change the title for Keener to Banal mid-week game?

Are you sure you werent watching a rerun of a Zips game....oh lets say in the last 3-4 years? Sounds like it at least. I am so excited to see what the MAC play will look like. Spin
I still think Miami is a solid 2nd. Their record includes two good B10 teams. Bowling Green has been a disappointment and could fall from 3rd into the mediocre soup in the East. If we had Ohio's cupcake schedule, we could go .500. zipsfan33
If we can fix the kick coverage units... and continue to solidify the defense...Akron will turn out ok this year. I just hope we dont lose players in Tenneessee, that could be a difference maker.
K92
When I was a kid I watched a lot of NFL football with my uncle. Sometimes one of the games on TV was between two hapless squads, say New Orleans vs. Tampa Bay. My uncle would refer to that game as "This Week's Dumbbell Derby" in his NFL Films voice. Well, last night's game was the mother of all dumbbell derbies. What is frightening to consider is that these two teams outscored Akron by a count of 86-13. skip-zip
It's interesting that Ken+ can win a football game against a bad opponent, when all of their players are running towards the correct end zone.
