fknbuflobo
I have yet to see him play but with only one goal scored so far was he hyped too much? I have been very critical of Alfred Koroma; perhaps my expectations were unrealistically high. I certainly bought into the hype. Upon reflection, I have found his impact to be more subtle than originally thought. Korma is sorely missed in the lineup. He is a bona fide match changer. He is not a Darren Mattocks, a cold Finisher. He is more of a Teal Bunbury, a well-rounded Forward. He definitely belongs in the first 11. A good October by Koroma will be necessary for Zips to win the Championship.

Got no problem with Brenes, at any position. Reinaldo is likely a future pro. But Koroma has potential to be great.
schiri
Give him time. How many goals did Teal have as a frosh ? If Alfred is a quick learner then the goals will come earlier IMO. He has the physical tools - it's just a question of opening up and refining his futbol brain.
Zip_ME87
I hope Fred (as Alfred told me he likes to be called) is making a speedy recovery. I want to see all of our Zips healthy and available. And, by the way, I think Renaldo has been doing great.

We can all agree that Reinaldo Brenes #7 has steadily improved during his Akron tenure. His versatility will get him minutes, somehow, somewhere. Big Zip
How did this focus of this string change? The question was of the young man's health? Has anyone heard anything regarding his health? Staff infections are terrible. I hope he is doing well and will wait to comment on his play until I've had an opportunity to see him play more. Captain Kangaroo
How did this focus of this string change? Just be grateful that OU doesn't have a soccer program, or the topic would have changed a lot faster.

Reinaldo Brenes, that kid has played every position short of keeper since he has been here. I"m pretty sure he started as a defensive midfielder, played a little fullback last season, has played as a winger, and now a center forward. What is his best position? I don't even know what you list him as. Definitely valuable to have a utility man like that.

All known indicators are that the young man is in good health and will play @ Bowling Green.

Staph infections are even worse than staff infections. And it gets really bad when your entire staff is infected with staph.
