Akron @ OHIO

Any credibility you ever had just vanished with that ludicrous statement.

He is telling the truth..Marshall Stadium is twice as loud and rowdy as Penn State. I have been to several PSU games and Marshall crowd is smaller and more vocal.

Teams don't get the chance to beat Ohio with the pass..on paper you think oh Ohio is without its TOP 3 cornerbacks we should be able to pass at will. No our DL get's to every QB and not always sacking him but forces bad/risky throws for turnovers. Our blitz comes at the PERFECT times and with smaller faster linebackers. Offensively we have one of the more diverse play books in ALL of college football and maybe it takes the 1st half for us to figure you out..then we pound you and slip in a few back breakers for good measure with the pass,or we can spread you out and beat you thru the air all game. Look for our combo of Blankenship-Boykins to have over 175 yards rushing easily. Ohio 32 Acorn 21

Since Akron is still in the beginning stage of putting the program back together, I assume OU will win.

But any team that struggles to beat a bottom-of-the barrell team like UMass is beatable.

As much as I would like to see us beat them, I think both the offense and defense will need to play. It seems like every week only one side shows up, and other weeks neither does. My estimate is Ohio 35 Akron 10.
