So image this, Zeke and DJ Cooper playong on the SAME team? Well its going to happen.

They were both selected to play for the white team during the SeniorAll Star game on Friday at the Final Four.

I find that pretty cool, here are two high level players that battled each other for four years (even if not mano a mano) and each won two titles in their time. I will have no problem at all seeing Cooper dish a few dimes into Zeke. That would be awesome.

Zeke gets a chance to go head-to-head against Bucknell's Mike Muscala, who's recently been touted as a higher potential NBA draft pick than Zeke. Great opportunity for Zeke to show his stuff in front of all the NBA scouts who will be gathered in Atlanta for the Final Four. There's no doubt that Cooper will be able to give Zeke quality feeds in the post when they're in the game together.

Actually, this should be really interesting. I don't know how many minutes Zeke will get, but with DJ to feed him and all stars to guard the perimeter on defense, Zeke could go wild. 25 points on dunks and lay ups, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks.

Because, for the first time in College, his only job would be to live under the basket and dunk everything and rebound everything and block everything. Should be very interesting.

No mention of Zeke in the AP story, and no box score yet. But here are a couple of paragraphs from the AP story:

The game basically amounted to a scrimmage with both teams hardly having a chance to meet each other, much less practice or even shoot against the blank backdrop of the Georgia Dome.

As you'd expect, there were just about as many air balls as made shots early on - but there were a few dunks, including one by Davies off a feed from Ohio's D.J. Cooper that brought several thousand fans who turned out to watch to their feet, and some nifty ball movement on both sides.

Ah, GoZips.com is on top of it. Zeke had a so-so game. And, wouldn't you just know it, Cooper was named the Reese's Perfect Player of the Game, with 11 points, nine assists, four rebounds and three steals off the bench. I guess in a game where the players don't even get to practice together, the guy handling the ball (PG) has a little advantage. Oh, well. Hopefully Zeke's defense impressed the NBA scouts.
