fknbuflobo
Akron is currently 27. Penn State is currently 12. http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/soccer-men/d1 RPI points are ripe for the harvest! Zips will need to be in top form to take all three. This match will go a long way in determining whether the Zips get a first round bye.

Ando
dumb question, maybe: if VCU got 56 points, and Creighton only got 55, how aren't they ranked?
Z.I.P.
dumb question, maybe: if VCU got 56 points, and Creighton only got 55, how aren't they ranked? Well, I thought sure it must be a typo. But on second look, I think the NSCAA has some explainin' to do!
Dave in Green
@Z.I.P., the poll you linked to shows VCU with 50 points, so the 56 must have been a typo.

Dave in Green
I was just going to report the sad news that the Zips were trailing 1-0 at the 80th minute. But in the 82nd minute, Quinn scores on a penalty shot as a PSU player gets a red card.

Dave in Green
Great video. Quinn was right in saying that he didn't think the GK was expecting the SOG, as you can see in the video that the GK takes a hop forward before stepping back and jumping. Even with that it appears that the ball almost brushes his fingertips. Had he anticipated Quinn's shot and not taken that hop forward, he may have been able to stop it.
