The 2015 Football Commitment List

Recommended Posts

The only thing Chapman has showed is a tendency to get kicked off of a football team.

Janoris had the same tendency, played for coach Bowden at North Alabama after being "kicked" out of Florida, and now scores TDs on Sunday in the NFL. Apples and oranges maybe? Maybe not. It was interested to hear coach Bowden say at the press conference...the guy that will play QB at Akron next year, will not be the one that turns the ball over. Chapman sure has a lot to prove, I hope he is willing to work hard to do it, because some believe he might just be the guy to put the excitement back in our offense.

Weren't we trying to court ole Noah over to UA ?

Is he NFL bound? Seems like he learnt a lesson.

Where do you see this? Rivals.com still has him committed to UA.

Of course, since he's committed to UA, they've downgraded him from 4-stars to 2-stars.

Hmm. This could mean a few different things. Here's hoping that he's heard from somebody that Akron has found a QB and he would have to sit for a few years and so he opened things back up.

highly unlikely. Lets be real, we all know it would have been a long shot to keep him.

We have 2 QB's that were Pitt commits, one that was an Arizona State commit, and one that has 20+ Division 1 starts under his belt. That SHOULD be an embarrassment of riches, not a reason to hunt down a 5th year, mercenary transfer.

I never thought of it that way. If that is the case, then we should be fine at that position.

The backfield is my concern.

This will be his 2nd spring practice, since he graduated early. I look forward to seeing a lot of him this spring.

The fact that he was among the Dean's list honorees last night can't hurt his chances. I'm not sure his style fits into TB's recent vow to emphasize the running game more in 2015 however, unless Alexander is eventually expected to shoulder that burden on his own (or with help from Hundley etc.).
