We used to be you Miami and you'll find a way to lose this week. Zips 35 Sweaters 17. Quote
Balsy Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Remarkably confident group for a team that's won one game in two years. We used to be you Miami and you'll find a way to lose this week. Zips 35 Sweaters 17.What a ridiculously optimistic bunch over there. They sound just like us Didn't they go 0-12 last year? I'm sorry I find it laughable that some of them are saying "our defense will find it's way in this game"...more so than our defense? I just don't see it happening...but this is why we play the game. PB1719 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Those Miami fans, they don't have any sense of reality. Quote
Balsy Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Those Miami fans, they don't have any sense of reality.Agreed. Now I want the Zips to shut them out. Quote
lance99 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Honestly,The Zips need a meat grinder. A tough, close game builds character. Quote
Balsy Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Honestly,The Zips need a meat grinder. A tough, close game builds character.I'd rather have a meat grinder against Ohio. Quote
K92 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 A meat grinder game might build character if you go toe-to-toe with a good team and beat them. The Zips need to blow out bad teams. I think Miami is a bad team.Ruthlessly crush 'em, Zips! :gun: 2 Quote
Zipgrad01 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Honestly,The Zips need a meat grinder. A tough, close game builds character.I think fighting through the last several years of struggles has built plenty of character. They need to get the taste in their mouths of pasting some garbage teams. They need to build their confidence even more, not struggle with a team that has won one game in the last 2 years. 1 Quote
Dr Z Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 The Zips need a meat grinder. A tough, close game builds character.BS. If we win by less than 8, I walk out of the stadium disappointed. If we are a good team, we need to pound cupcakes at home. Pound them! Quote
Zipmeister Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I'll go with 12,111.UAs latest promotional effort (fake "yard sale" signs posted outside stadium) bumps attendance to an even 14K. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Very sloppy so far: penalties, drops, and a turnover. Elite football teams don't make those mistakes. Let's clean it up! Quote
LZIp Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Two easy drops and one fumble by our WR corps in 2 drives. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Our punter is outstanding! He has to be in contention for an All-American award. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Nice safety. And BUGS up 14-0 at Ohio. Quote
lance99 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 2 points. Thank you, Zach Paul!I will take a intental grounding call! Quote
LZIp Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I don't like that fade call. I'm not sure it has worked for us once this season for whatever reason. Just seems like such a waste of a play. 2 Quote
LZIp Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Very encouraging to see Chisholm not only hit the hole, but let his blocks develop down the field and cut off of them. Nice catch by Bickley that drive as well. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Tight game at half. The Miami offense adjusted to our QB pressure and started running and making quick throws. Seems to be good coaching...Miami will likely be a force in the next couple of seasons. Quote
K92 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Pittman demonstrates how to hit the QB. Quote
