ZippyRulz Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is there to hear it………..does it make a sound?Physics factoid: It's debatable whether the forest even exists when no one is there to observe it. Quote
Balsy Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Physics factoid: It's debatable whether the forest even exists when no one is there to observe it.Nonsense. A lot of quantum mechanic riddles are in the realm infallible conjecture. If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is there to hear it………..does it make a sound?Yes. Of course that's assuming that by sound you mean a pressure wave that is being translated by the brain into a biochemical response. Even if the biochemical responders are not present to translate those pressure waves, the pressure waves still exist. Quote
