What an absolute joke. Don't worry guys, Bowden is not going anywhere FOR SURE after that awful performance. Out coached AGAIN by Frank Solich. Absolutely awful loss.

We have two good RB and we ran the ball hardly ever. Put the entire game on the shoulders of a backup QB. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible coaching.

What an absolute joke.

Same old Zips. Hard to get behind this team when the crap down their leg in a very winnable game. OU is not a good team but the Zips just sucked today. Hard to believe Woodson as a RFreshman is all we got at QB after Pohl. Game plan on both the offense and defense sucked today. No pressure on a walk on QB...nice job Amato. I swear he lets the GAs do the game plans some weeks. I have no idea why we decided to just throw the ball all over with a RFreshman playing QB. Just terrible. Sucks they get you pumped with a win like Pitt, follow it with a solid win against Miami and then just crumble mentally at OU. Top it all off the penalties today were simply atrocious. Need to be smarter than they were today.

On a side note that was as good a hair color as Terry has had all year. Looks like he's finally found the right Clairol for his wig.

Not outcoached.

I watched the entire game. There is some thing that stood out:

-The DQ

-The luck. There should have been way more inceptions. That comes with a Freshman playing

-The drive that they drove on flags. There is no excuse on that.

-Shabby tackling

-The huge fumble. Was not expecting that.

-MAC experience. Solich showed that in this game.

The defeatist attitude by some people I cannot understand. You should be happy that the Zips have come this far from where they have been.

I thought Woodson did not play very well, but he played well enough that the Zips should have won the game. The coaches left a potential 9 points on the board by not trusting our FG kicker who hasnt missed on the season. I have to guess we would have at least made one, probably two of them. I think TB/Milwee did not do a good enough job putting a redshirt freshman making his first ever start in a fair position to win a football game. Way too many throws for a dual threat QB.

We are still building the program. Losses to teams we arent supposed to happen. You can look up my post and see that I've said I think we will lose one we aren't supposed to during this season. It happens. You dont go from a losing team to automatically beating every team that you should. The rest of the games are winnable. BGSU should be the only game left where the Zips might lose. Ball St, Buffalo, Can't St, and UMASS are all scrubs. 8-4 is still very much in reach. 7-5 at the very least. BGSU lost today. The MAC is still in reach, and will probably come down to the "blackout night" in November.

Good effort, Woodson. You made some nice plays that Pohl can't make. With that said, I hope Pohl is ready to go next week.

Terrible terrible coaching and bad QB play killed us...but I'm still confident we will win 7 games.

There you go!

I cannot understand how people can act like Cleveland fans. People should be happy how far they came in the last couple of years.

Yes outcoached. Zips turned the ball over twice on 4th down. The Zips never tried to establish the run, putting way to much pressure on that Freshman QB. The only running plays I saw were QB scrambles and draw plays. That's not players, that's coaching. Pure and simple. They didn't seem to divert from the game plan one iota, even though it wasn't working.

I am happy where the Zips are. But this game should have been a win. Losing this game takes away all the momentum we had.

This is the year to make a statement, not next year; not the following year: this year. Losing to the Bobcats takes that statement and throws it out the window. No matter what progress we make, the Bobcats are still better than us, that's what this loss says. :puke:

Sure I am I need to vent, I take akron losses harder than most of you. I am tired of this, yes they came a long way from Ianello, but my god, no running today and a game you have to win if you ever want to turn the corner in a program as I am yelling at my kid to not bother me, so you can call it trolling, while you are happy with us being competitive

Take it easy Zips fans. I don't agree with some player moves by this coaching staff, but we are still stronger than last year and the future, even for this this year, is brighter. 2014 is still ready to be a good year. Let's get Pohl back and get the best on that O-line. Our defense and special teams are good. Come on now - Go Zips!

L zip happy with a tight game, I am sure I saw you up at Michigan to see the zips lose in tourney.. You know I am so fake of a zip fan, as I have my gear on and the zips flag up on gameday. Been a die hard fan back to Huggins and Owens days, so whatever. Just pissed at a game we should win

You said the defensive coordinator of the #1 defense in the MAC needs to go. Think about that for a second and maybe you'll understand why I'm forming the opinion I am of you.
