Who Wins the MAC Tournament?

Now that conference play is upon us, it's time to make some predictions on who will win the MAC Tournament.

I'm going to think with my head over my heart and say Toledo, although I do think Akron makes it to the Championship game. They have two bad losses (Detroit and Oakland) but have played well against teams like Duke, VCU, and Oregon. With a trio of seniors in Brown, Drummond, and Weatherspoon, I think experience is the deciding factor in Cleveland.

I do think the experience will be beneficial for the young Zips and that they'll enter 2015-2016 as the favorites in the MAC.

Since I have only seen Akron play, I would only be blindly guessing, or just looking at useless stats. I'll come back and answer when I have watched, at the very least a few of these teams.

That's pretty par for the course, I wouldn't read too much into it.

Akron rarely puts players at or near the top in very many statistical categories. It has been that way for the duration of KDs tenure. His teams have always relied on balanced scoring and team rebounding.

As to who wins the conference tournament, way too early to predict. There are a lot of quality teams in the conference this year. Toledo, Akron, EMU, Buffalo, BG, Can't, CMU and WMU have all had pretty solid OOC seasons so far. I think the conference schedule this year is going to be a real slug-fest for a lot of teams. Going to be a very interesting year.
