Dave in Green
No O = more stressed D. Zips D is better than the #91 ranking, but O will have to spend more time on the field to help improve D's ranking to where it should be. K92
D1 includes FCS so we're probably not dead last. Feel better now? Not yet, but keep trying!

The rankings are for the 127 D-1A teams only with no FCS teams included. To put in perspective how skewed the numbers are after just 2 games in which teams have faced wildly different levels of competition, in total defense Can't is currently ranked #2 in the country behind #1 Boston College. ZippyRulz
Not yet, but keep trying!Savannah is averaging 183 ypg to our 168. Delaware St., Maine, and Howard rank below us in Div. I. How's that?
Dave in Green
Who would ever guess that the team just one spot ahead of the Zips' #127 and last place ranking in total offense is #126 Texas.

Strong knows that he needs to do something now or he is out the door. Bowden knows of our historical mediocrity and current financial issues. He has zero sense of urgency to fix things right now because "he is looking at the big picture" and he knows we cant afford to dump him. Dave in Green
Zips D will get more than their fair share of sacks and tackles as long as the O spends so little time on the field.
