The Zips offense has been below average with Pohl and downright abysmal with everyone else, still the opponent this week isn't just a mediocre FCS squad they are at the bottom of the FCS. I'll split the difference between the four and eight touchdowns mentioned above and predict that the Zips get 6 TDs and maybe a field goal or two.

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but the game starts at noon and the current hourly forecast is predicting rain starting at 3 p.m. As always, this is subject to multiple changes, no promises, bring your rain gear, etc.

Like I said previously, it is obvious that "that stadium" was built on an ancient Indian burial ground. The only reasonable answer to the whys regarding this progrum is that it is supernaturally cursed.

Zips Stay Focused.

There is such a thing as being too confident, and that’s what the Zips will have to avoid. “We just have to take it just like it’s another game,” linebacker Dylan Evans said. “They’re going to come here and try to win just like we went to Oklahoma and tried to win. We’ve just got to give them respect, and say that they’re a good football team, and play it like we know how to play and I think everything will turn out all right.” For fellow senior linebacker Jatavis Brown, there is a stark reality. “Being 0-2, I don’t think you could be overconfident,” he said.

We are hanging close with the Goliath football program Savannah State. I hope we get our crap together or we might not win this game let alone any game this season. This looks like crappy high school football. Sad.

I have plans to go to Louisiana next week - I'm still going to go but I may skip the game. I don't think there is any chance this team is a contender in the MAC this year. What a waste of a terrific defense.

Great comment by Jerrod Cherry on the TV broadcast. "Chapman may not be ready to be the featured player in this offense but Conor Hundley has proven that he is". I don't understand why they don't use him more.
