GJGood Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 The Zips offense has been below average with Pohl and downright abysmal with everyone else, still the opponent this week isn't just a mediocre FCS squad they are at the bottom of the FCS. I'll split the difference between the four and eight touchdowns mentioned above and predict that the Zips get 6 TDs and maybe a field goal or two. Quote

Zipgrad01 Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 For a team giving up about 70 a game.....yep Quote
Dave in Green Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Take this with a huge grain of salt, but the game starts at noon and the current hourly forecast is predicting rain starting at 3 p.m. As always, this is subject to multiple changes, no promises, bring your rain gear, etc. Quote
skip-zip Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 3pm would be great. Lets hope it stays that way. No earlier. Quote

The only reasonable answer to the whys regarding this progrum is that it is supernaturally cursed. Quote
Dr Z Posted September 18, 2015 Author Report Posted September 18, 2015 Zips Stay Focused. There is such a thing as being too confident, and that’s what the Zips will have to avoid. “We just have to take it just like it’s another game,” linebacker Dylan Evans said. “They’re going to come here and try to win just like we went to Oklahoma and tried to win. We’ve just got to give them respect, and say that they’re a good football team, and play it like we know how to play and I think everything will turn out all right.” For fellow senior linebacker Jatavis Brown, there is a stark reality. “Being 0-2, I don’t think you could be overconfident,” he said. Dave in Green Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Current weather radar doesn't look promising. Quote
MDZip Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Love it when Cody carries near the goal line :-) Quote
ZippyRulz Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Where was that drive vs. Oklahoma? Quote
zipsoutsider Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 They may have to start to bench these defensive players if they can't stop the stupid personal fouls. Game 3 against Savannah State? Are you kidding me? Completely undisciplined. 2 Quote
Zipgrad01 Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Hell ball sack "ballsy" how do you like woodson now.he blows!! Quote
MDZip Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Offense can't even get it together against one of the worst (maybe the worst) teams in all of D-1. Smh Quote
AKSportsFan Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 We are hanging close with the Goliath football program Savannah State. I hope we get our crap together or we might not win this game let alone any game this season. This looks like crappy high school football. Sad. Quote
lance99 Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 A blocked Field Goal!?!?!?!Really? Quote
RowdyZip Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 LOL. I'm on the edge of going back to Ianello level support. No excuses here. Quote
AKSportsFan Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 ......WOW. This has makings of another Gardner Webb disaster except Gardner Webb was actually a "good" FCS team. SSU is the bottom of the FCS. This is absolutely pitiful to watch. Quote
Dave in Green Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 We're worse than we ever imagined. Quote
MDZip Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 I have plans to go to Louisiana next week - I'm still going to go but I may skip the game. I don't think there is any chance this team is a contender in the MAC this year. What a waste of a terrific defense. Quote
Balsy Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Hell ball sack "ballsy" how do you like woodson now.he blows!!Agreed. The Zips in general are terrible. Quote
MDZip Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Great comment by Jerrod Cherry on the TV broadcast. "Chapman may not be ready to be the featured player in this offense but Conor Hundley has proven that he is". I don't understand why they don't use him more. Quote
dre22era Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 This game may mark the end of I-A football for us smh Quote
