ZachTheZip
Can't get the stream to load. Looks like Ruhaak already scored to make it 1-0.
TennZip
that is the worst yellow card call ever...yellow card on Richie...for supposedly floppingrichie will not play against uclahorrible
zippyfan34
Richie got a yellow for flopping even though he got tripped. So he is out against ucla?
natemathwhiz2
That was absurd. And embick justifiably pleaded his case and he too was on a short leash and got a yellow... Ugh
fknbuflobo
As I predicted, Laryea will miss UCLA match.Accumulating 5 yellow cards equals a game suspension. It is a dumb NCAA rule, but not as dumb as some of Richie's yellow cards. Edited October 28, 2015 by fknbuflobo

ZachTheZip
Need an insurance goal.Who backs up Larayea? Whoever it is needs to get some time in this game so they're better prepared for UCLA. Edited October 28, 2015 by ZachTheZip

TennZip
incredible video quality ....I wish akron had the same qualityInteresting lineup....no goncalo soares or Pau Belana....in the starting lineupNate and Robbie both in line up...looks like Nate is DB....and Robbie is a holding midfielder...Robbie had one really nice run to the goalRichie was not flopping....but his poor decision at 4-0 up against Mich. State ....comes back to hurt the team.Hopefully, akron can get a goal from an unlikely hero....Stuart Holthusen? Anthony Macchionne ? Sean Sepe works hard...would love to see him get rewarded...the side with Andrew and Sam....not seeing the ball much

UAZipster0305
Not very good possession, but we played mistake free and took advantage of the few opportunities we had, which is significant being on the road in poor conditions. I'll take it. On to UCLA. Edited October 29, 2015 by UAZipster0305
malonepioneer12
Agreed great video quality and announcers were generally pretty good. Any idea on Najem's condition? It looked like he was walking off the field after the game with something on his shin? Not sure if that was him though.
fknbuflobo
Great. Now we can host UCLA with neither Najem nor Laryea.
Flipeezip22
Just heard about this site...I am glad there is a place to discuss matches and what not. I wish I thought about looking for something like this earlier. That video streaming was 100 times better then most of the games that charged a fee. Crazy how a free setup was so clear and had replay.
fknbuflobo
Welcome, Flipeezip22.Where the hell have you been all this time? You are a student, I presume?Mountaineer Network is as good a webstream there is - for free.Replay showed that Laryea's supposed flop was indeed a foul.*****Can anyone confirm Laryea's suspension? Is Akron appealing?
bigzipguy
Are appeals allowed in regards to yellow card accumulations?
UAZipster0305
Can anyone confirm Laryea's suspension? Is Akron appealing? Why would we appeal? I know the UCLA game is important for seeding, but it's better that he sits out now and resets the accumulation total rather than carrying on with four and having to sit out a MAC or NCAA Tournament game. Hopefully his sitting will also serve the purpose of deterring future yellow cards, especially those due to poor decision making. Don't get a couple stupid yellow cards earlier in the season and one unjust one at the end is irrelevant. Lesson learned?
fknbuflobo
We absolutely should appeal. It was an unjust referee decision. We likely will lose the appeal anyway. But it is worth a try.Laryea obviously must cut out the childish crap, like tripping someone from behind with under 10 minutes left and a 4-0 lead. This mess is ultimately on him.Players can mature; see Victor Souto.A top 4 seeding greatly increases our chances of a second star. Beating UCLA is essential to achieving that seeding. fknbuflobo
It is my understanding is that the yellow card cannot be appealed, but the consequent suspension can be appealed.Someone please correct me on that. Even for soccer, the NCAA rule book is pretty thick.

Even for soccer, the NCAA rule book is pretty thick. If we could appeal and have him play the UCLA game, then drop the appeal and allow him to serve the suspension against BG, that would be good. Then the yellow cards can reset for the tournaments.
Zip_ME87
To clear something up, Yellow cards do NOT "reset" persay in the NCAA. A player doesn't get another 5 until the next suspension. By NCAA rules, once 5 have been reached, the player sits out 1 game and then gets 3 until the next suspension.12.11.2 Postseason Games. Caution accumulation will carry over into postseasonplay, which includes conference tournaments and the NCAA tournament.Players or coaches participating in postseason play will receive a onegamesuspension when a total of eight cautions have been accumulated.Further, each three additional cautions shall result in additional one-gamesuspensions. Moreover, if the total is reached in the final postseason game ofthe season, the player(s), coach(es) or bench personnel shall not participatein the first scheduled game(s) of the next season.https://www.ncaapublications.com/p-4320-2014-and-2015-soccer-rules.aspx
