top drawer soccer has once again updated their recruiting rankings

http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/top-2016-boys-recruiting-classes:-july_aid39451

and yes.....they have Jackson Crawford listed twice under commitments

2. Akron

Commitments: Emmanuel Sabbi (No. 12), Nicholas Hinds (No. 20), Reggie Laryea (No. 37), Marcel Zajac (No. 116), Jesus Perez (No. 136), Alex Mapp, Jackson Crawford, Jonathan Lewis, Tor Saunders, Jackson Crawford, Jeremy Pollard

Transfers: Joseph Korb (Mercyhurst), Ben Lundt (Lenoir-Rhyne)

Emmanuel Sabbi is still on board, though the prospect of him playing college soccer remains a toss up. If he comes, Sabbi and the rest of this talented recuriting class make the Zips one of the teams to be considered a favorite for the national title this fall.

I expected to see Emmanuel Sabbi on this list for the under 20's.   I was very happy also to see Akron recruit Jonathan Lewis on this list.

Congratulations to 2 members of Akron's announced recruiting list.

article about the under 2o team training

zip recruit Jonathan Lewis received a favorable mention

Ramos was satisfied with the team’s effort: “It was a very good game. We played well.” He also added that several of the players who were with the team for the first time adjusted well—citing specifically Gutjahr and Kendall SC’s Jonathan Lewis as particular standouts.

article from the under 20 mens national team website

it looks like #7 ....and zip recruit Jonathan Lewis started and played 64 minutes

I think that the under 20 training is done on Aug. 8 so Jonathan should be able to join the zips in time for the first practice with the coaches

It looks like zip forward recruit Jonathan Lewis(#7) got his 2nd start in the two exhibition games for the under 20 mens national team

I have not seen a box score yet to see how many minutes that Lewis played.

The under 20 team defeated New York Red bulls II.   I have only been able to find that Sebastian Elney of Maryland scored one goal.

Very impressed that Jonathan Lewis started both games and I look forward to seeing him this fall on cub Cadet field.
