Impressive 1st half for the Zips. Maybe the best offensive effort in a half I've seen in years (excluding the EMU game this year).. The defense has been so-so in my opinion. Miami has shot themselves in the foot with some drops.

Special teams has been horrible. What in the hell is with that pooch kick.

27-7...barring some major errors in the second half, that should be the ball game. No way a team like Miami comes back against our defense.

It is nice to see that we will be back to .500 late in the season. For all the complaining about Bowden, this program is light years ahead of where it was after the Pigskin Holocaust. There is a big difference between 7-5 and 5-7, and this season could still go either way. To this point though, I am satisfied.

I like the confidence to call plays to try to put points on the board at the end of the half.

If it wasn't for quick whistles, the D would have two scores today. Love the aggressiveness going after the ball.
