above is the WVU press release

this is the paragraph...where Travis Clark....deduces that Akron, W. VA , Seattle and Georgetown are playing in a 4 team tourney

The season officially begins with a pair of games against teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament Third Round a season ago. Playing in Akron, Ohio, WVU begins the year against Seattle on Friday, Aug. 26 before facing Georgetown on Sunday, Aug. 28.

The Mountaineers are on the road for the final four matches of the regular season. The roadtrip begins at Akron on Friday, Oct. 21. A perennial national championship contender, Akron advanced to the NCAA College Cup a year ago.

Georgetown in Akron's tournament, yes, but remember Seattle defeated UCLA in the NCAA's second round last year and won 18 games.  Note that we play as many teams from the Pac-12 as the BIG 10 this year.  Let's get good road crowds @ SDSU and UCLA.

that is a beautiful poster....

and that is a lot of talent to replace after this year...

Hope Victor and Adam and friends....can depart Akron after winning a 2nd star

Danilo is definitely the under-rated guy on the poster...

Danilo came in and really fortified that back line last year

Disappointing thing about the schedule is that all home games are at 7:30 instead of 7:00 which makes it difficult for my family to attend during the week with my son starting kindergarten this year.

Last night does not bode well, losing 1-0 at Oakland.

Possession belonged to the Zips, but no one stepped up in the final 3rd. Disappointing. I hope our forwards and attacking mids figure it out quickly.

Since the zips play Michigan Friday night and always play several big ten opponents, I thought that the fall schedule was an appropriate place to post the big ten projected standings.   Penn state fans can't be happy to be predicted to finish behind Wisconsin.   Michigan forecasted to finish right in the middle of the pack.

I would assume so, maybe Perez, Hinds and/or Lewis?

I could really see all three getting more PT.
