TennZip Posted May 11, 2016 Author Report Posted May 11, 2016 thanks, ME87...had not seen...release from go, zips http://www.gozips.com/sports/msoc/2016-17/releases/20160511fafgnh 1 Quote
Z.I.P. Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) Georgetown in Akron's tournament, yes, but remember Seattle defeated UCLA in the NCAA's second round last year and won 18 games. Note that we play as many teams from the Pac-12 as the BIG 10 this year. Let's get good road crowds @ SDSU and UCLA. Edited May 13, 2016 by Z.I.P. 1 Quote
LosAngelesZipFan Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 Zips in my town! Awesome! Who on the board is in Cali or Cali-adjacent or might be interested in making the trip? Think the alumni office will plan something? Quote
TennZip Posted June 29, 2016 Author Report Posted June 29, 2016 that is a beautiful poster.... and that is a lot of talent to replace after this year... Hope Victor and Adam and friends....can depart Akron after winning a 2nd star Danilo is definitely the under-rated guy on the poster... Danilo came in and really fortified that back line last year Quote
zippyfan34 Posted August 10, 2016 Report Posted August 10, 2016 Disappointing thing about the schedule is that all home games are at 7:30 instead of 7:00 which makes it difficult for my family to attend during the week with my son starting kindergarten this year. Quote
fknbuflobo Posted August 10, 2016 Report Posted August 10, 2016 The 30 minutes less sleep will be quickly forgotten. Memories of Zips Soccer with Dad will last a lifetime. 3 Quote

Possession belonged to the Zips, but no one stepped up in the final 3rd. Disappointing. I hope our forwards and attacking mids figure it out quickly. 1 Quote
TennZip Posted August 18, 2016 Author Report Posted August 18, 2016 Since the zips play Michigan Friday night and always play several big ten opponents, I thought that the fall schedule was an appropriate place to post the big ten projected standings. Penn state fans can't be happy to be predicted to finish behind Wisconsin. Michigan forecasted to finish right in the middle of the pack. http://www.bigten.org/sports/m-soccer/spec-rel/081716aaa.html Quote
fknbuflobo Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 Expect lineup changes come Friday! Quote
malonepioneer12 Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 I would assume so, maybe Perez, Hinds and/or Lewis? Quote

zippyfan34 Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 I noticed Stu didn't play in either half of the split squads. Anyone know if he is hurt or was it something else? Quote
fknbuflobo Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 Stu is injured and has been throughout the preseason. Do not expect him any time soon.☹️ Quote
malonepioneer12 Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 I thought Perez played well in the second half. I think you could tell about Hinds talent in the second half as well. I look forward to seeing these two again on Friday. Let's hope Mr. Lewis gets some time up top as well. 1 Quote
fknbuflobo Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 So, how many captains have we this year? Quote
