Since they have Joey Julius at 270# kicking for them, 290 for a ILB or TE seems about right

Do not want to create a new thread, but it appears the RB to replace Ball* has been on the team since last season. Deltron Sands, former 3* recruit out of STA and Oregon State, is now listed on the roster. He was one of 4 freshman not to get redshirted for Oregon State his first and only year there before going down with an injury. Ended up being dismissed from the program for unspecified reasons. He will be either a RFr. or RSoph. as the article posted states Oregon State was going to try to get a medical redshirt for him. My guess is that he will be a RSoph. He looks like the front runner if no Ball. With Ball, a big upgrade at 3rd down/speed back.

 

*If the med redshirt does not get approved.

So I heard on the radio today that OSU is going to need to trim it's roster of 7-8 guys to make room for all the new signees. Something to keep an eye out for.

Sheesh.I feel like they've already trimmed it by 3-4. Trout, Collier, and Gibson off the top of my head. Plus they had some guys leave early that they didn't expect I think like Noah Brown. I wonder if those guys are being factored into the 7-8.

Not quite that many. The bad thing is that with Fick now at Cincy, they are all transferring there.

Per an 11W writer, looks like OSU's scholarship number is at 89 after today's events, so there is still some more fat to be trimmed to get down to magical #85. Let's hope we can benefit from that some. Cinci can't get all the scraps, can they!?

Probably any that they want unless they are from NE Ohio.

Redshirt Senior right here. No clue what he did, but from what I've read he is pretty good. Would assume he would have graduated thus immediate eligibility.
