Why is the field in Houston in such poor shape? MAPFRE Stadium's field looked immaculate for MLS Cup last December in Columbus. The field in KC for the College Cup last December looked much better, too.

The Dynamo should be embarrassed.

I find it incredible that the women's tournament draws over 10,000 (at San Jose' last week -- may have been well more than that), but the men can't draw flies -- for the second year in a row -- at a MLS stadium.  Can anyone explain that?

I'm not sure why and I am definitely not an expert but it seems like the MLS fans don't care enough about college soccer.  The MLS superdraft and how it is handled is somewhat of a joke to me.  In this country college soccer just isn't that big and it is looked down upon.  Also it is too expensive and time consuming to have a large fan base travel that far.  These need to be at college stadiums. This is an embarrassment.

and the really sad part in your comparison.....is that San Jose had very little time to promote the event...

the womens college cup was scheduled to be in Cary, NC.....until sometime in the early fall....when the NCAA moved the event out of NC....due to the trans gender bathroom debate

San Jose did not even know that they would host at the beginning of September.

Whatever the name of the Philadelphia Union stadium is, that's where the game will be played.  Chester is on the SE side of Philly.  Major redevelopment project to locate the stadium there.

If MLS Cup final and College Cup are going to be on the same weekend, perhaps they should both be in the same location...probably not a good idea. Actually, I don't understand MLS Cup final and College Cup in same weekend this year. I'm glad that didn't happen last year so that I could attend both.

I hope the NCAA is proud of that crap show. Horrible field, horrible referee, horrible soccer, and the champion of PK's. Awful.
