Chapman moving to WR

TB just said Tra'von Chapman is moving to WR in the spring.

I like it. While a lot of us think we have talent waiting in the wings (myself included assuming they didn't transfer), it is good to have as many options there as possible.

Will we find out this spring whether the stud WR's we were hoping for are still on the roster?

Well I won't go as far to call them "studs" as I don't think any of them have played much, if any college football at all. Highly rated for MAC/talented I can agree with. But yeah, I would expect we know about all of them in the spring as they will all be eligible this season.

Good for TC. Lots of great receivers were former QB's.

We'll never know how much this had to do with our anticipated situation at QB, our need to fill the void at WR with the Lane/Natson exit, or both.  

 

I just hope he's in a spot where he can really help us.  The hype vs. the production just wasn't there.  But, I'm still grateful that he did enough to get us that win out in Portage County last year.
