LZIp Posted September 9, 2017 Report Posted September 9, 2017 I can deal with getting crushed by PSU a lot better than I could deal with getting crushed by Purdue. 1 1 Quote
Balsy Posted September 10, 2017 Author Report Posted September 10, 2017 Well, Bowling Green certainly crapped the bed this week. I'm willing to delcare it now: losing to BGSU this year in absolutely unacceptable. Good wins by Toledo, CMU and EMU! Rutgers sucks...but when will we start scheduling our $ games against low-level Big-10 teams? There's no way we should stand a chance against the Michigans, Ohio States, Wisconsins, Penn States of the world...but if we're really an improving team we should be able to challenge a Rutgers, Purdue and beat them. kreed5120 Posted September 11, 2017 Report Posted September 11, 2017 (edited) We're going to get annihilated by Nebraska next year. They aren't anywhere close to being in the same category as a Purdue or Rutgers. Edited September 11, 2017 by kreed5120 Quote

GJGood Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 Just a note: Clemson is in the ACC not the SEC as stated at the top. Quote

Why do we even bother scheduling teams. We might as well go write in Ls in. Akron should just quit football. Quote

Akron should just quit football. Other MAC schools have shown the ability to consistently compete and on occasion even beat good to great P5 teams. We haven't and from what I've seen I don't think we have the talent on this roster to be competing with those teams anytime soon. This isn't to say we can't compete in the future. I just don't feel this staff for whatever reason can recruit the players we need to get us to the next level. Quote
