G League to offer $125K to elite prospects as alternative to college one-and-done route

Personally, I'm all for it. College basketball has kind of turned into a joke with all these 1 and dones and Adidas paying players to attend certain schools. Hopefully this helps return college basketball to being an actual amateur sport played by real student athletes.

I am vehemently against paying college athletes, and this is exactly the alternative route that needs to be offered.

That's about what they'd get from Kansas, Louisville or Kentucky.  Just no cut to the AAU coach.
