Zip_ME87
Looking at the .pdf roster that is posted with the announcement of the 8 players joining this Spring, it appears the following underclassmen have left. TennZip
Top Drawer soccer is showing a new class of 2022 recruit in this week's recruiting roundup https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/sima-recruiting-roundup:-may-9-15_aid50796 From what I can find, Mansour Diop was part of the Philadelphia Union YSC academy for 2021 (Mitchell Budler was also part of that group) Mansour Diop originally committed to play at Penn State for the fall of 2021. However, he elected to stay as an amateur and play for Union 2. Diop is a 6'5 center back. Originally from Senegal. Moved to the US at age 14. Welcome, Mansour Diop to zips nation.

Let'sGoZips94
Have we ever had a 6'+ defender? That's a bit sarcastic but we are usually much smaller than our opponents. I like the size!
TennZip
Jared and the coaches were allowed to start coaching the team yesterday. First exhibition game is 5 days away. Is today the day....that we finally get a news release...telling us about the new players that we will be joining the team this fall? I look forward to reading Coach Embick's words about Ashton Kamdem, Mansour Diop.....and any other new players joining the zips for the Fall 2022 campaign.
fknbuflobo
I would hope that the press release would be today. If not today, there may not even be a press release. Unbelievable.

TennZip
I am totally intrigued by the comments on Ashton Kamdem. I really hope that Ashton Kamdem gets a tremendous amount of playing time at Left back. Embick on Kamdem – "Ashton is a quick left back that is a good two-way player. He can help us build out of the back and gives us a threat in final third as an overlapping fullback. He also is a solid defender that handles 1v1 situations well."
