File size limit

Why does Zipsnation have such a small file size limit when posting images? Having to compress a high definition photo to meet the size limits really degrades anything containing text.

There is a 19.53 MB attachment limit. Delete some of your old attachments. 
 

Select your profile name in the upper right. Select “My Attachments”, and delete old attachments to create space.

That's a workaround but the question remains. Why such a small limit? I have had many occasions where I wanted to post photos I took at games where there was no coverage by media. Is it an issue with our hosting service? Software?

Software upload limit 19.5 MB. When you clear space, your limit will increase.

I have recently had to clear space. It is a bummer that you might need to delete some older pictorial history, but that's what you have to do. Generally speaking...no one is going to go back 8...10...12 years to view those images anyhow. They belong to the ages...
