bigjim Posted September 29, 2022 Report Posted September 29, 2022 Thank you, but I think you missed a key point. If you look at one of my previous posts, McDonald missed last game and is questionable for the Zips game. I believe that his ability to play, and play up to his potential, is key to determine who will win this game. If he cannot play, Zips romp. If he is healthy, the game is a toss-up. Go Zips!!! Quote

Apparently whomever sets the point spreads doesn't pay much attention to these numbers. Quote

It seems they are similar to us in a number of ways. Their backup QB, who may start against us, is also from an FCS school - Long Island. But it sounds like JoeMo is expecting McDonald to play. BG has rotated a lot of players on offense and defense, so some of their original backups have actually played more snaps than their original starters. I was looking at the snaps versus who actually started the games and wasn’t 100% sure who to list. I haven’t watched BG play this year so I unfortunately have nothing more to add than stats. LoyalZIP Posted September 29, 2022 Report Posted September 29, 2022 I fully expect McDonald to play, and I suspect JoeMo is preparing for the game as such. It was a smart move, without the HC especially, to hold him out at Mississippi State in a meaningless game after he had taken a few beatings against tough teams to start the year. Quote
