Zip_ME87
Zips prevail 4-2 on PKs. Stefan Dobrijevic, Caleb Borneo, Tyler Morck, and Maximus Barboto scored their PK’s. MSU GK saved one. Zips’ Stud GK, Mitch Budler, saves 2. No need for MSU to take their final pk once Maximus put us up 4-2. Great seeing Mitch back. He had an outstanding game besides the PKs. Happy to be there to see it.
Zip_ME87
Zips have 5 points from 3 games. W v BUGS = 3 pts L at Dayton = 0 pts D at MSU = 1 pt + 1 pt for PK shootout

Zip_ME87
Unlike the Dayton game, our opponent (MSU) had the better of the game. As I recall, our first shot came in the 2nd half...a header by Stefan that their keeper had to save over the net. I think we only had one or 2 other shots. MSU had a few of good chances called offside...all justified but only one was significantly offside. The other 2 I recall were close and could have been serious trouble. NYC ZIP
Going to take a little time to get their footing. 95% of the goals from 2024 have moved on. For example, Stefan’s PK against Creighton is the only Big East conference goal scored by a returning player.

Many opportunities v Michigan (and Dayton) unfinished.
fknbuflobo
Looking for a bright spot.... Incoming transfer Jack Sullivan #19 provided real spark off the bench in limited minutes. He is quick-footed and very intentional. We need to see more of Sullivan.
